Workers Day: Governorship hopeful promises workers better deal

President of the socio-political group, Benin Solidarity Movement(BSM) worldwide, Ambassador Curtis Eghosa Ugbo, has felicitated with Edo workers today on the occasion of the commemoration of Workers Day worldwide.

In his statement of goodwill to the workforce, Ambassador Ugbo said that their labour can never be wasted or wished away no matter the odds. He stressed that after a dark cloud comes the rainbow and the outcome of the workforce’s investments to ensure a vibrant economy will be rewarded in quantum in the soonest possible time.

“After the dark cloud cometh the rainbow in its glory of many colours. The amount of hardwork and steadfastness that the workforce has contributed in ensuring a vibrant economy for the country can never be wasted or wished away.

“In due course the outcome will be a source of joy for all and sundry as it will be rewarded in quantum in the soonest possible time. The supreme being, God, is on their case and thus their labour can never be in vain.

“God will give Nigeria a leadership that will harken to our tears and solve our matter in good stead. God cannot lie and He cannot leave His children in abject needs in any circumstance.”

The 2024 governorship hopeful on the ticket of the Labour Party (LP) promised the workers and indeed other residents of the acclaimed heartbeat state that his emergence at the Osadebey Avenue will usher in harvest of bounties for everyone.
