A political mobiliser, Razak Sedenu, has expressed confidence that his movement would deliver on its promise of securing about 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 Presidential poll line with the wish of Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, stressing that the ongoing voters sensitization across communities was already yielding positive responses.
He made the pledge after leading members of his political movement on a sensitisation tour across the 18 local government areas of Edo State to encourage residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate in the voter registration exercise.
Speaking during the tour, Sedenu said the initiative was aimed at mobilising grassroots support and ensuring massive voter participation ahead of future elections.
He noted that the campaign involved engagement with community leaders, youth groups and other stakeholders across the state.
According to him, leaders in different capacities have also joined the mobilisation drive to sensitise residents on the importance of voter registration and civic participation.
He urged eligible voters who are yet to register to take advantage of the exercise to obtain their PVCs, describing the voter card as a powerful tool for citizens to shape the future of the state through democratic participation.
