We are determined to give effective representation to our constituents, says Edo lawmaker

Honourable Ephraim Otaigbe Aluebhosele, the Deputy Whip of the Edo State House of Assembly, has appealed to the people of the state to endeavour to always stand by the legislature so that they can be assured of effective representation which is what he and his colleagues in the seventh assembly are doing.

The lawmaker, who represents Igueben constituency in the house, said that he and his colleagues have been very strong in upholding the tenets of parliamentary democracy. 

“We follow the books to the letter. When I say the books I mean the books of parliamentary democracy. That’s what we have being following and it has been working well for us.”

On laws that the legislature has passed in the seventh assembly he said that it has been very effective as the laws they have passed “are laws that are very important to the people of Edo State.

“We were voted into parliament by our constituents thus we must go all out to give them effective representation,” he stated.

The seventh Edo State House of Assembly marked its second anniversary on a low scale on Thursday, June 17th, 2021.
