‎The newly appointed Interim Technical Manager of Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin, Coach Baldwin Bazuaye, has charged the players to wake up from their slumber “and be alive to their responsibility to deliver on their mandate which is to bring entertainment and excitement of victories to their proprietors and fans.”

He made the charge on Tuesday as he begun work with the club as he supervised the morning training session.
‎
‎The ex-international and Executive Director in the Edo State Sports Commission Board acted in a swift response to the call by the Sports Commission Chairman, Desmond Enabulele, to hold forth as the Head of the Technical crew of the Benin Arsenals while the Head Coach, Greg Ikhenoba served his suspension.
‎
‎Going further, he asserted: ‎”I am in the saddle here for a temporary time and to help manage the situation pending when the issues that led to the suspension of your Head Coach are resolved.
‎
“‎I have been given the responsibility to lead this team temporarily. Please, I need the cooperation of everybody. We must do everything to start getting results and get out of the present situation. If there are any grievances and unresolved issues, please drop them. As for our players, discipline must be your watchword. You must prove your Coach right and justified for bringing you here. We must wake up and everybody should know his responsibilities.”
‎
‎Coach Bazuaye told the players and officials that discipline and cooperation is what they need as a team to succeed. He stated that no employer will be happy to invest a lot and not getting results.
