Uniben postgraduate students applaud philanthropist’s heart of gold

National Association of Postgraduate Students(NAPS) University of Benin, has applauded the untiring efforts of Dr. Paddy Emmanuel in uplifting scores of people in the society.

In a statement acknowledging the yeoman efforts of the philanthropist, Comrade Chris Ovie, who is the President of the association and is also the Director General(DG), Center for Community Health and Rescue Operations, said that it has become imperative to shower encomium on Dr. Iyamu who over the years has become a lifewire to a horde of people who are in need of one form of assistance or the other.

Comrade Ovie while applauding Dr. Iyamu for his continuous kind gesture through his foundation, the Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu Foundation for his annual free medical outreach, women empowerment, youth empowerment and educational grant said that the philanthropist’s heart of gold is worthy of been appreciated.

According to Comrade Ovie “to who much is given much is expected.” He made specific mention that the largest community of beneficiaries of Dr. Iyamu’s continuous kindness over the years are University of Benin students.

He disclosed that over 100 persons benefitted from this year’s free medical outreach, women and youth empowerment scheme and educational grant of Dr. Iyamu.

Going further, Comrade Ovie said: “We pray that God almighty will continue to bless and increase Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu in all fronts.”
