Going further the adage says that the day the ‘omoale’ realises his status and decides to take up arms and seek a solution to his misfortune that day marks the start of crisis in the family and indeed the society.

It started like a joke. Most residents of the acclaimed City of Bronze, Benin, are now accustomed to waking up in the morning to see bulldozers come into their community to raze down their precious landed properties on the orders of you know who.

Those who have tasted of this bitter pill have stories to tell of the harrowing experience they went through in the course of this ‘wake and see’ act. The list is endless.

Now it is Edo NUJ that’s going through the heat of alleged plans to acquire its Secretariat as it is allegedly claimed by you know who that it is built on the Benin Moat. I am testing the microphone. If you know you know.
