1. South Sudan: With a GDP per capita of $251-$455, South Sudan is considered one of the poorest countries globally. The country’s economy is heavily reliant on oil, but ongoing conflicts and instability hinder its development.

3. Central African Republic: The Central African Republic has a GDP per capita of $315-$1,123. Ongoing conflict, limited infrastructure, and reliance on subsistence agriculture contribute to its economic challenges.

4. Somalia: Somalia’s GDP per capita is approximately $73-$766. The country faces significant challenges due to political instability, recurrent droughts, and limited economic development.

5. Democratic Republic of the Congo: The DRC has a GDP per capita of $394-$1,552. Despite its rich natural resources, the country struggles with corruption, inadequate infrastructure, and economic inequality.
