Hell was let loose yesterday evening at the Edo State Government House situated at Osadebey Avenue when security details attached to Governor Monday Okpebholo sprayed tear gas in the eyes of Razak Zekeri, an influencer and journalist.
Information at our disposal is that Razak was on his way to the office of the Chief of Staff, Yakubu Musa, who shares office boundary with the Governor.
It was at this period that the Governor was going out of his office. His security details in their overzealousness shoved Razak out of the way. His attempt to identify himself and explain his mission was met with unprintable words.
Pronto one of the security men dipped his hand in his pocket, brought out a canister of tear gas and sprayed it into his eyes.
It was the intervention of Kelly Okungbowa (Ebo Stone) who was watching from a distance that saved Razak from further humiliation.
