Under the leadership and support of  the Chairman,  National Sports Commission(NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko, and the Director General(DG), Bukola Olopade, the team delivered a historic performance that captured the admiration of the global sporting community.

The Nigerian contingent proved their dominance in track and field events across multiple disability classes. Several athletes claim multiple podium finishes, most notably, Flora Ugwunwa, Sefiu Ojeleye, Alam Ugochi, and Uwak Unyime.

This performance reaffirms Nigeria’s place as a powerhouse in para-athletics, and sets the stage for even greater glory at future international competitions.

The dedication of the athletes, the strategic backing of the President Para- Athletic Federation, Rafiu Olawale Etti, ensured Nigeria’s successful outing and the foundational support from Para Athletics officials  have proven to be a winning formula.
