The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rose from its meeting today adopting the recommendation of the party governors that the Deputy National Secretary of the Party, Arch. Setonji Koshoedo, should act as its National Secretary until further notice.
The position of the NWC was disclosed to journalists by the acting National Chairman of the party, Amb. Umar Iliya Damagun at the end of the NWC meeting this evening.
Damagun in a terse press brief stated that the NWC adopted the recommendation of its governors on the issue of the it’s National Secretary adding that it would be forwarded to the National Executive Committee (NEC)
He also stated that the NEC meeting has been scheduled to hold on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in line with the recommendation of the Governors’ Forum.
