Stolen Benin artefacts: Whatever is taken away from Benin must be returned, says real estate expert

The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Get Rich Property Ltd, Austin Edegbe Edafe, has stated that whatever that belongs to Benin and is taken away must always be returned.

He stated this while reacting to the return of stolen artefacts to the Benin Palace by the British. He gave kudos to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare 11 and President Muhammadu Buhari for their role in ensuring the recent safe return of the stolen artefacts.

“There is a saying in Benin that our things do not get lost and whatever is taken from Benin must surely be returned.

“I give kudos to the British people for safely returning the stolen artefacts to the Benin Palace after several years. I am also congratulating President Muhammadu Buhari; the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare11 and the entire palace chiefs including the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion for doing all that is needed for the safe return of the artefacts to its rightful abode.

“For us of Edo State extraction, the year 2021 is a year of overflowing grace but bigger things are going to be our portion in 2022.

On the recent Igue Festival, Edafe said, “it is a festival that brings blessing and peace to the land. I congratulate all Edolites for a successful Igue Festival.”
