SKYEWISE: Lifting the underprivileged beyond the skyline

Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State born Elvis Abuyere is a prominent Nigerian entrepreneur and the CEO of Skyewise, a diversified conglomerate with interests in real estate, logistics, and automobile services. He is widely recognized for his leadership within the business community, particularly for his focus on youth empowerment and corporate philanthropy.

On Monday, May 4th, 2026, he called the who is who of the media in Benin City, the Edo State Capital to a parley on his 11th year in business and the fallout so far.

On his journey so far he stated that Skyewise Investment is made up of investment, credit automobile, youths empowerment, logistics and commercial real estate.

He stated that he grew up in Abuja and Lagos and commenced business eleven years ago.

“One of the reasons we are here today is just to express how far we have come to view Edo State. Benin City is a growing economy full of enormous potential for the young people, vibrant and consider one of the interesting state for us which is part of our long term vision.

“I thought it wise to be here to lend our support to the Edo State government that they are doing the SHINE Agenda that is making everything beautiful,” he stated.

Talking about the edifice the Skyewise occupy in Benin he started: “We have two floors as automobiles showroom. The best of its kind in Edo State in Benin City where you can walk in and purchase a brand new car with technology.

“I think this is the best showroom in Edo State where you can see a car lifted up from ground floor to first floor with some display. That technology we consider it as the agenda of the day where we want all businesses to inculcate technology enhancement and innovation.”

On other aspects of Skyewise, “we also have financial members whereby we give out microfinance to people, individuals etc. because we believe there are three purposes of holding money ie fianancial, precautionary and speculative.

“The most important is transactional – money that people need on a day to day activity. For us at Skyewise we have been building on this trend of building activities. So far we just started and we have been giving out loans to support business in our environment and in Benin City.

“More importantly to us is the youth empowerment. We want to have our youth empowerment which is the Skyewise Foundation. We believe the future of Africa is entrepreneurship and that future lies in the life of the young people of Nigeria.

“Nigeria stands as the symbol of the giant of Africa. We should begin to take the giant steps of Africa.”

In furtherance, he submitted: “We also have two floors in this building which are for premium apartment. That’s people who want to have a short stay. We have a lounge, a swimming pool upstairs.

“We are using this opportunity to invite you for the ground opening which is on the 6th of next month. We’re doing our eleven years anniversary and our grand opening where we will have the Governor himself.

“When we did a pre launch in December we have the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa here and so also were some of the commissioners. We look forward to seeing these set of people at the grand opening coming up on the 6th of June by the Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo.”

Under his leadership, the company has expanded into several sectors, including: Skyewise Properties: Real estate development and investment.

Automobile sales and maintenance service. Providing specialized services across various industries.
