Former Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu, has mourned and sympathised with the family of those who lost their lives and those injured in the mishap that occurred in Jattu in Etsako West Local Government Area of the state this morning aftermath of the heavy downpour in the locality.
In his mesaage, he said: “I am deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred earlier today at the Jattu market in our beloved Jattu-Uzairue Kingdom, Etsako West Local Government Area, during the windy early morning downpour, when some trees suddenly fell.
“The fallen trees sadly claimed the lives of some traders at the popular market. My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this unforeseen disaster. May their souls rest in peace.
“To those injured, I wish you a speedy recovery and may the trauma of this event be eased by the love and support of our community.
“As a son of Jattu-Uzairue Kingdom, I share in your grief and pain. Let us come together to support one another during this difficult time. May our collective strength and solidarity be a comfort to all affected. Rest in peace, dear departed ones.”
