The member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwonde Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Billy Osawaru, has forwarded two petitions to the Directorate of State Services(DSS) on blackmail, defamation of character and threat to life among others.
In the first petition via his legal counsel, Hon. Osawaru alleged a case of forgery, blackmail, defamation of character and conduct likely to cause breach of peace against Messrs Festus Aimierovbiye, Oziegbe Ighodaro and Thomas Osazuwa.
In the petition the reps member requested the urgent intervention of the agency “into the activities of some very known unscrupulous elements who have forged signatures of APC members in Umagbae North Ward 5 in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area for the purpose of blackmailing him and assassinating his highly earned reputation which are conducts that would cause serious breach of peace in the entire ward unless these known perpetrators are urgently brought to book as the situation may lead to serious political crisis, bloodbath and breakdown of law and order.”
In the second petition which is against Curtis Ugbo and Sandra Aguebor, Hon. Osawaru’s counsel alleged that “there is serious threat to his life and that of his driver(Oduwa Elvis Osahuemwonmwan) by Curtis Ugbo and Sandra Aguebor.”
According to the counsel, “On the 22nd day of September 2024 the duo of Curtis Ugbo and Sandra Aguebor(his former female friend) and some fierce looking hired boys blocked our client (during their visit to the Oba’s Palace). They ordered the driver out of the car and forcibly opened the owner’s door only to discover that our client was not in the car.
“They openly told his driver that they wanted to waste(kill) our client and that nothing would happen. That before the named person left, they seriously beat up our client’s driver in anger of not seeing our client inside the vehicle.”
