“My father has not been comfortable with the frequent news of armed robbery in the streets at night which he believes was caused by the darkness prevalent in the area at night,” he said.

He advised the residents in the area to ensure full protection of the solar lights against vandals so that his father will be encouraged to attract more social amenities to the area.

Mr.  Lucky Igbinovia, the Odionwe (oldest man) in the community, who led his people to the ‘official switch on’ of the solar light gathering, expressed satisfaction over the development.

The Odionwe stressed that Phinaco Resources has been a blessing to the community as he enumerated series of community based projects the organization has delivered to his locality.

“This organization is a blessing and God sent to us. Last time the transformer that transmit light to our community got spoilt and Phinaco Resources singlehandedly provided us a 1000kva transformer to supply the community light.

“We are very happy to have this kind of establishment with human feeling in our community. Our duty is to always pray for the continual upliftment of the organization and its staff,” he asserted.

On his part, Mr. Sunny, one of the youth leaders in the area said the installation of the solar light is timely because Christmas celebration is near, as he explained that people will not be scared to move around at night during the yuletide.

A special prayer session was held to dedicate the Managing Director, Mr. Eghosa Omoregbee, his family, staff and Phinaco Resources to God for protection and more progress.
