Oye mourns passing of Iyalode Alaba Lawson

The National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Dele Kelvin Oye Esq., has mourned the passing of the first female president and 19th National President of NACCIMA, Iyalode Alaba Lawson.

Oye, in a statement, said the late business magnate, philanthropist and educationist dedicated her life to serving society with her vibrant spirit, eloquent articulation, and boundless motherly warmth.

The statement reads: “It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother and the 19th National President of NACCIMA, Iyalode Alaba Lawson.

“As a remarkable trailblazer and the first woman to hold this position from 2017 to 2019, she dedicated her life to serving our community with her vibrant spirit, eloquent articulation, and boundless motherly warmth. Her loss will be deeply felt, but her legacy will forever inspire us.

“We extend our sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time. As we await updates, let us keep them in our thoughts and prayers. May the Almighty provide them comfort and solace in their grief and grant them the strength needed to bear this loss.”

Oye added, “As we celebrate the life of Iyalode Alaba Lawson, let us honor her memory by carrying on her legacy of passionate commitment and unwavering dedication to our community. Rest in eternal peace, Iyalode Alaba Lawson.”
