Hon. Oscar Aghedo, who is aspiring to represent Ovia Federal Constituency, in the green chambers of the National Assembly, has saluted the resilience and commitment of workers in Edo State.
In a goodwill message to commemorate the Workers Day on Thursday, Aghedo said: “Today, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of workers across our beloved Ovia Federal Constituency and the world. Your tireless efforts drive our economy, build our communities, and shape our future.”
While saluting the workers resilience and commitment, Aghedo intoned: “As your representative, I pledge to advocate for policies that promote job creation, fair wages, and improved working conditions. May your labor be rewarded, and may your rights be protected.”
Aghedo, who was one time Secretary to the Ovia Local Government Council, is reputed to have a strong hold on Utoka(Ward 13) of Ovia Local Government Area, where he relates with each and every member of the ward on first name basis.
He is aspiring to replace Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, who is now the Deputy Governor of Edo State, in the National Assembly on the ticket of the All Progressives Congress(APC).
