In a statement Comrade Patrick Ebojele, the Convener of the group, stated that “Governor Monday Okpebholo by his achievements within his seven months of assumption of office has shown that the people of the state made the right choice that fateful Saturday, September 21st, 2024, by voting massively for him in the governorship election.

“His performance matrix as it stands today is in the region of one life enhancing project per week a thing that was not applicable in the state the previous eight years before he came in.”

Going further, N’Edo Gheria zeroed in on the latest project which is the building of sub-injection station to light up some communities in Edo Central District initiated by the Governor in fulfillment of his campaign promises.

“In fulfilling his campaign promise of providing a 2.5MVA injection sub-station to Udomi community in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State, Governor Okpebholo has shown that he is a Promise Keeper, whose words can be taken as a bond.

“Some other persons having concluded the election process would have looked elsewhere and pretend that all is done just the way many politicians act but not Governor Okpebholo who stood by his words and did the needful in line with good conscience.”

According to N’Edo Gheria, “as it’s now Edo State is a huge construction site where many meaningful projects are scattered around all the senatorial districts indiscriminately. It is not too early to mount a second tenure campaign for Governor Okpebholo whose actions continue to portray him as a Godsent to the people of Edo State.

“Indeed, a new Edo has risen to the glory of God and the benefit of the people of the state who in the previous eight years before Governor Okpebholo’s emergence were living a nightmarish experience.”
