All roads lead to Orerokpe, Delta State, on December 7th, 2024, when the immediate past governor of the state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa would be honoured with a road race tagged Orerokpe Road Race.
According to the programme of events made available to Popular News by the organisers of the event, Dr. Chris Ovie(Convener) and Tunde Queen Etana(Director, Special Events), the theme of the road race is Peace, Unity and Security Beyond Borders.
It will be preceeded by a public lecture by 10am on 28th November, 2024 at the Delta State University, Agbor. The Theme of the public lecture is: Substainable leadership: The Key For Sustainable Development.
Ahead of the public lecture are pre road races scheduled for Nigeria School of Supply and Transport, Isihor, Benin City by 10am on August 31st, 2024; Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta State by 10am on September 27th, 2024 and Warri Township Stadium by 10am on October 26th, 2024.
