This was the comment of Engr. Daniel Ossai, the Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, in a chat with Vanguard correspondent at the Benin Airport recently.

According to Engr. Ossai, “Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is a man with a mission and vision. He is also a Promise Keeper who is at all times bound by his words.

“In the history of the acclaimed Big Heart State Governor Okowa’s strings of achievements have stand him out as the best in ensuring that the people in all parts of the state enjoy dividends of democracy not minding the odds.

“His legacy projects are too numerous to start counting on the tips of fingers such that even other state governments borrow a leaf from him on how he implements his laudable projects to better the lives of all and sundry.”

Engr. Ossai cautioned opposition parties’ members who thrive in throwing mud at the achievements of the Governor Okowa led administration to desist from such as the day of reckoning is nearby when the people of the state will stamp the voters list in favour of the ruling PDP because of the giant strides of the incumbent governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.

“As it is usual every four years Nigerians and indeed Deltans will go to the poll to vote in a governor and political party of their choice to steer the affairs of the state to safe landing.

“There is no doubt that Governor Okowa has laid a good foundation for any candidate that will fly the PDP’s banner will be better favoured to succeed him.

“That’s the level of the effect of Governor Okowa’s giant strides in his eight years in office on the landscape of the Big Heart State.

“So those in the opposition who thrive in throwing mud on the achievements of the PDP administration should take note as the people will continue voting for the PDP not minding the propaganda machinery being employed by naysayers to discredit the good works of the ruling party in the state.”
