The Ohen-Osa of Holy Aruosa Cathedral, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghodua Edebiri, has invited the Speaker and members of the Edo State House of Assembly to the 9th Coronation Anniversary Thanksgiving of the Benin monarch, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolor, Oba Ewuare 11 which holds on 26th of October, 2025.
Leading a delegation of members of the event Planning Committee, including it’s Chairman, Lion Osaretin Osayande on a visit to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, the Ohen-Osa disclosed that they were in the house to congratulate the Speaker and members for the peaceful coexistence and unity in the house. The Ohen-Osa solicited the support of the House towards the event.
In his response, the Speaker thanked the Ohen-Osa and his team for the visit, while assuring that the house holds the Benin monarch in high esteem. He stated that the house has utmost respect and regards for the revered monarch and are honoured to be invited to the event.
Highpoint of the visit was the presentation of the invitation letter and the brochure for last year’s event to the Speaker.
On hand to join the Speaker to receive the delegation were members of the 8th Assembly.
