Listen to our cry, beneficiary admonishes PAP Coordinator

High Chief Pere Ejune Goki, a beneficiary of the First Phase Amnesty Programme, has admonished Dennis Otuaro, the Presidential Amnesty Programme(PAP) boss, to harken to the cry of neglect and abandonment by many of the beneficiaries.

He stated that Otuaro’s style of acting like he is less concerned about issues relating to the welfare conditions of some beneficiaries speaks volume about his nature.

“It’s unthinkable that as the person given the charge of attending to the welfare needs of beneficiaries of the amnesty programme you most times don’t relate with some of the beneficiaries when your support is much needed.

“The history of the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme is filled with memories of lots of capable and hardworking individuals who have been given the mantle of leadership to address the hydraheaded issue of marginalisation and neglect of the Niger Delta. From time past some of the individuals include General Godwin Abe(rtd), Timi Alaebi, Kingsley Kuku, General Barry Ndiomu(rtd), Col. Dixon Dikio(rtd), General Paul Boroh(rtd) and Professor Charles Dokubo. “

Concluding, Ejune said: “Just to remind you that there is life after your leadership of the Presidential Amnesty Programme and that whatever is your scorecard now will be used to assess you in years to come.”
