Laycon emerges winner of Big Brother Naija Season 5

Olamilekan Agbeleshe(aka Laycon) has emerged as the winner of the Big Brother Naija Season 5 Lockdown Contest that came to an end on Sunday, September 27th, 2020.

The 26 year old Philosophy Graduate of the University of Lagos eased off competition from 19 others after a 71 day duration to win the contest which has a N85million take-home prize tag attached to the overall winner.

As the eviction drama started on the last day of the contest the first person to be evicted out of the last five remaining contestants was Victoria (Vee) Adeleye. Next to follow suit was her love interest in the house, Emuobonuvie(Neo) Akpofure. Then came the turn of Rebecca Hampson(Nengi) to be evicted.

As soon as the Bayelsa State born ex-beauty queen left the house the contest was left for Laycon and Dora(Dorathy Bachor), the 24 year old ShopforMe owner to decide who wins.

Ebuka Obi-Echendu put everyone in suspense as he in his usual way took some minutes to pronounce Laycon as the winner. The overjoyous Laycon went down on his knees in tears of joy as fans, friends and others swam around him to join him in celebrating the epoch occasion.
