The suspected killer man, Chukwunonso Nwogu, also known as Nonso, Kelly, Drey, Derek, was the couple’s driver as at the time of their murder. The Ayonmike family promised the N2million cash reward for anybody with useful information that can lead to his arrest.

Credible information revealed that the killer driver is a master of the act of disguise. He is believed to freely alternate his dress code from casual to formal and at times in Northern traditional dress code(babanriga).

Expantiating on its serious desire to get Chukwunonso nabbed, the Ayonmike family said that their promise of paying N2 million to anyone that can give useful information leading to his arrest was not a fluke.

The killer driver is believed to be hiding around the South East states, Rivers, Delta and Lagos.

Pa Joseph Ayonmike, an 83-year-old man of culture and immense intellect and his wife, Dr. Chinyere Shirley Ayonmike, opera soloist/duetist, Technical Vocational Education and Training, TVET, expert and a senior lecturer at the Delta State University, were on Friday, June 25, 2021, brutally and gruesomely murdered in their residence, 28 Mabiaku Road (Nana College Road), GRA, Warri. They were shot, stabbed and cut with machetes.

Since the sordid incident about two years ago the whereabout of their driver, Chukwunonso Nwogu(aka Nonso, Drey, Kelly, Derek) who hails from Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area of Abia State has remained unknown even as he has been declared wanted by the Nigerian Police in connection with the murders.

The families are appealing to anyone with credible information leading to Chukwunonso’s arrest, to contact: 0807-154-8887 and 0803-830-0921 or the Nigeria Police, and have alsoi offered the sum of N2m as a reward for such vital information.
