Congratulatory messages have started flooding the mail box of newly appointed Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Professor Idia Enibokun Ize-Iyamu.
One of such messages emanated from Aiguobasimwin Movement, a socio-cultural group based in Benin City.
In congratulating the new appointee, the Aiguobasimwin Movement, while expressing their deepest appreciation President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment, said: “This appointment is a testament to your outstanding medical expertise and leadership abilities.
“We are grateful to God Almighty and our ancestors that our struggle for the appointment of new CMD who doesn’t have affiliation with the outgone CMD of University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Professor Darlington Obaseki whose records of performance was characterized with failures and misappropriation is not in vain.”
Going further in the congratulatory message signed by its President, Mr. Iyamu Osaro Culture and General Secretary, Mr. Osayuki Osa-Benson, the group stated: “We are confident that you will make significant contributions to the institution’s growth and development. We wish you a successful tenure, filled with growth, opportunities, and accomplishments.”
