Information reaching the newsdesk of Popular News is that the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Barrister Julius Abure, is currently under lock and key at the AIG Zone 5 headquarters in Benin City.
Popular News was made to understand that Abure’s arrest was occasioned by a a strong petition made against him which was sent to the Police Headquarters office in Abuja which thereafter forwarded it to the AIG Zone 5 office in Benin City.
Tijjani Momoh, the Zonal PRO confirmed the presence of Abure when contacted on phone with a promise to give further information much later as the story unfolds.
