The Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) will on Monday, May 11th, rejuvenate in the euphoria of the death of legendary reggae star, Robert Nesta (aka Bob Marley) in a one of its type shindig (Bob Marley nite).
On the cusp of this rag jam the journalists are hereby inviting all their colleagues, media professionals, friends and associates to the Edo NUJ Reggae Extravaganza 2026 coming up at the NUJ Press Centre, Benin.
The event, which commences by 4.00 pm, is organized to foster unity, relaxation, and networking among members of the press, friends and associates of the Union in Edo State.
In an invitation forwarded by Comrade Festus Alenkhe, the Chairman of the Edo State Council of the body and also Chairman of the night, he humbly “extends a warm invitation to all members, stakeholders in the media industry, and the general public to come and unwind in an atmosphere of good music, camaraderie, and solidarity.”
According to him “your presence will add color and significance to the occasion.”
