According to him, the Service has further earned the respect of Nigerians by sticking to the six weeks and three weeks respectively deadline for issuance of fresh and re-issue passports as directed by the office of the Comptroller General of NIS, Muhammad Babandede(MFR).

“I was at the Alausa NIS Passport Office for a working visit. The service and reception from the officers there were very encouraging,” said the JIFORM President.

Dashe, the PCO, while presenting the award, said he was happy to receive the international journalist at the command and called for more collaboration on migration matters with JIFORM.

Similarly the Manager News, Radio Nigeria 103.5 FM, Abiola Peters Olawale, who doubles as the Organizing Secretary of JIFORM was earlier honoured with a similar award at the office in the month.
