Insecurity: People of low mentality are blaming President Buhari, says Hausa community leader

Leader of the Hausa community in Edo State, Alhaji Gbadamasi Saleh, has described those criticising President Muhammadu Buhari for the spate of insecurity in Nigeria as people of low mentality.

He was talking on the occasion of the Eid el-fitri celebration recently.

“The challenge we have all over the country presently has to do with the issue of insecurity. In the north you can see that villages are being razed down.

“Some groups of persons go to a village to kill all the people in the village. That’s a disaster. The south east region is facing its own challenge.

“We all want to ask God what is our offence that makes us to experience all these disaster. The issue is that there are many things that God asked us not to be doing which we have being doing.

“That’s the reason we find ourselves in these mess. So, we have nobody to blame for whatever is happening to us.

“Unfortunately, some people of low mentality are now blaming Mr. President for this. You cannot blame him. Nobody who is leading the country would be happy seeing such things happening.

“He made many promises during the period of campaign and he cannot be happy that these promises are not fulfilled,” he asserted.
