James Onanefe Ibori, former Governor of Delta State between 1999 – 2007, has poured encomium on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu telling him the way forward.

In a tweet on his official Twitter handle @JamesIbori6 he said: “On behalf of my family, I extend my warmest congratulations on your inauguration as the President of our great country. This momentous occasion marks the beginning of a new era, filled with hope, progress, and immense possibilities for our beloved nation.

“Your election as the President reflects the trust and confidence that the Nigerian people have placed in your leadership. It is a testament to your unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and exceptional vision for a brighter future. Your vast experience, wisdom, and commitment to the welfare of our nation have earned you this esteemed position, and we are confident that you will steer our country to even greater heights.

“As you embark on this noble journey, we stand united as a nation, ready to support you in your endeavors. We believe in your ability to navigate the challenges that lie ahead, to bring about positive change, and to build a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria as one who is a firm believer in fiscal federalism and the decentralization of powers that reflects a true federal structure. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering national unity, promoting economic growth, ensuring security, and advancing the well-being of every Nigerian citizen.

“We look forward to witnessing the implementation of your transformative policies and the realization of your vision for a better Nigeria. Your leadership and statesmanship will undoubtedly inspire future generations and leave a lasting legacy for our country.

“Please accept my heartfelt congratulations once again, Mr. President. May your tenure be marked by success, fulfillment, and remarkable achievements. May you continue to lead our nation with integrity, compassion, and unwavering determination.

“Congratulations, Mr. President!”
