CEO of Get Rich Property Ltd, Austin Edegbe Edafe, has poured encomium on the late Benin born philantropist and multibillionaire, Captain Idahosa Wells Okunbo. Edafe described the late Captain Hosa as his father whom he never met.
“Captain Hosa wherever you’re, I am your son that never met you. I am taking over from where you stopped in the real estate sector. I am emulating you. I am using your one year memorial anniversary to celebrate you,” Edafe stated.
“Captain Hosa was a great man who made Edo State, Nigeria and the Oba of Benin proud. He was a man who rendered help to all those in need that he came across not minding if he was acquainted with them or not.
“Wherever that he is may his soul rest in peace. I pray that we have more like him. He is my role model in my real estate business. He graduated from being a pilot to being a real estate guru then a top player in other sectors. He lived a life worthy of emulation,” Edafe submitted.
The real estate guru expressed his life time sadness that he never had a personal encounter with his role model, Captain Hosa.
“It is very painful that I never came in contact with Captain Hosa (just as I never met Bishop Benson Idahosa) but stories of his good naturedness and his philantropic acts abound. Even the church where I worship, Rock of Ages Christian Assembly, was a beneficiary of Captain Hosa’s kind heart. And that’s how many other people across the world have several good stories to tell about him.”
Going further, he said, “the world missed a lot with Captain Hosa’s death. He was a man that could sacrifice his comfort for you to be happy. There are many wealthy people like him. My advice to them is that they should be of help to the needy. You came to the world empty and you will return to your creator empty. Use your stay on earth to lift others.
“When you lift others God will lift you higher. It is your good deeds while on earth that will count in your favour when you leave.”
