Thursday, October 7th, 2022, Kada Cinema Entertainment Centre, Benin, came alive with the world premiere of Gbege, the classic movie by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen (aka the Guvnor).
Despite the heavy downpour that was witnessed all over the acclaimed City of Bronze that fateful day the attendance of the epoch event by celebrities, movie stars, models, influencers and the likes from all parts of the country was encouraging.
Top of the list of high networth individuals and movie stars who witnessed the event are a former Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion; a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Razak Bello-Osagie; Charles Idahosa(aka Charly Tempo), Ini Edo, Nosa Rex, Uju Okolie, Zubby Michael, Jennifer Osawe, Benjamin Olaiye and several others.
Many movies buffs, who set out to have a good time while hobnobbing with their favourite screenstars, were not disappointed as the evening progressed. They all gave Gbege, a 5 star rating for living up to its billing, the top rated quality of production and the calibre of stars that it showcased.
As you’re reading this Gbege has been released into the market and it is currently showing in 37 cinema halls across the country.
