A group, operating under the aegis of Forum of Resigned SSAs and Executive Directors, has admonished Crusoe Osagie, the Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Communication and Media Strategy, to desist “from saying ridiculous and unfounded comments against our highly respected elder stateman(Captain Hosa Okunbo).”

In a statement signed by the convener of the group, Solomon Okoduwa, a former aide of Governor Godwin Obaseki, Captain Hosa was described as “the pride of Edo people.”

Going forward, Okoduwa said Captain Hosa “isone of our illustrious sons and father, a mentor, leader and philanthropist who has directly and indirectly touched lives of the vast number of Edo people,  Niger Delta and the nation at large.

“A man of peace who loves development and growth of his people. A man who never discriminates. One who has blessed political class across party lines including Godwin Obaseki  and other thousands of Nigerians expecially the Edo  people at home and diaspora.”

According to Okoduwa: “We want him(Osagie) to swiftly withdraw those unprintable statements said against him(Captain Hosa). Rememember, your boss, Obaseki has also enjoyed his benevolence.

“Therefore, he should be appreciated, applauded and commended for using his personal resources to improve lives of many Edo people.

“Thinking that such a man whose personal resources was used to bring in the current governor and ever since never asked of a dime that such a reputable and very distinguished gentleman is looking for the treasury of Edo state shows the cluelessness of Crusoe and his cohorts.

“Crusoe should mind his comments in order not to provoke many other youths who are benficiaries of Capt. Okunbo.

“Thank you sir, Captain Hosa Okunbor, you have seen it that the future of Edo must not be jeopardized by the out going governor Godwin Obaseki and his new found party, PDP.

“You have showed that nothing else matters to you at this time except the peace, growth and development of your people and that is why you chose to support our God sent, who is coming to make Edo proud of good governance, a man with a mandate and and a manifesto called ‘Simple Agenda’  who has a master plan of workable project which is chronicled in Simple Agenda. A man who we all have trusted and are  proud of – Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu.

“So the myopic views of Crusoe Osagie and others who see things differently don’t matter to us and millions of others. God has blessed Captain Hosa and through him many others are touched.”
