The National President of IPM, Comrade Mislaw Ganren, who stated this while chatting with newsmen in Yenagoa further reiterated that the call for the extension of employment quota became necessary considering the fact that Ijaw youths from the Niger Delta states need to benefit more from the company, especially when viewed against the backdrop of the fact that they hail from where the resources that sustain the economic growth of the country are found.

Ganren Mislaw, who hails from Ogodobiri community in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, commended President Bola Tinubu and the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, for their tireless and concerted efforts in securing the nation’s critical assets, particularly pipeline infrastructures across Ijaw communities which has gone a long way in shoring up the revenue profile of the country, reduction of environmental pollution and degradation and reduction of illegal bunkering activities.

The IPM National President also noted that it is qiute important for TSSNL to operate a more inclusive policy by accommodating more Ijaw youths in the onerous task and responsibility of securing pipeline infrastructures in Ijaw land in order to reduce poverty that is on the increase on a daily basis occasioned by the determination of the Federal Government to put a stop to all forms of illegal oil bunkering activities among Ijaw youths, adding that TSSNL need to employ a ratio of at least 10,000 Ijaw youths with 3,000 from the IPM family which would definitely reduce crime rate generally in the society.

He equally stressed that IPM as a body has the passion to develop the mind of Ijaw youths, reiterating that members of the body cut across all Ijaw speaking states of the country.

He also opined that the proposed employment of 3,000 members of the body is a calculated attempt to make Ijaw youths useful to not only themselves but the society as a whole thereby creating a working and enduring partnership with TSSNL.
