Former Minister asks for prayers to do more for humanity

Former Minister of State for Works, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi, woke up to a pleasant surprise this morning, Tuesday, March 21, with calls from far and wide congratulating him on his 72nd birthday celebration.

On the back of this he has appealed to Nigerians, especially members of his immediate family, to join him in thanking God for what He has done for him in his 72 years on earth.

Responding to felicitations on his 72 years birthday anniversary, the retired oil industry guru said that “the only thing that I am asking from God on this epoch occasion of my 72nd birthday is that He continues to make me relevant in touching the lives of people by making them do better in their endeavours.

“That apart, I wish to thank God that in all these years I have been described by many as a source of blessing and joy to people that surround me.

“So, what else would I ask for from God. Nothing but good health and long life to actualise my dreams as the days go by.”
