Femi Fani Kayode should be blacklisted by Nigerian journalists

Media mogul and president of the One Love Foundation, Patrick Osagie Eholor, has called on journalists in the country to blacklist Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) for his terrible comments recently disparaging journalists.

On Fani Kayode and his comments on Nigeria Journalists

It beats my imagination for Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) to accuse Nigerian journalists of not working diligently but go for brown envelopes.

He has been on white powder. For a long time journalists have never exposed this side of him. He also derives joy in turning his wife to a punching bag at the slightest provocation as a result of his drug abuse syndrome. He never spares her.

Now that he has turn it to his habit to insult people publicly then he should just be prepared to get the full dose of public anger. He has just accused journalists of collecting brown envelopes, an accusation he cannot substantiate. Also he sounded so arrogant in his apology.

“I have apologised. I am going to tour the rest of the South South region. Let us move on journalists and accompany me the way you have always done.”

In fairness, I think that journalists should blacklist him. When they do that other elites will know that journalists are very important people in our society. They are the ones that fought for the independence that we now enjoy.

On police arrest of Uwaila’s killers

The police officers that we have in Nigeria are very gallant. They’re very hardworking and they deliver whenever they want to. I can tell you that they are the best in the world. But they’re victims of the government. The police should approach their problem with boldness and sincerity. They should be allowed to have a union; to protest and to have a better accomodation. They should be well equipped and be allowed be allowed to have more science laboratories in line with what is obtainable in overseas. I commend them and I am proud of them. You will recall that I was among the first set of Nigerians to call on the Federal Government and the Edo State Commissioner of Police that the killers of Uwaila must be fished out. I insist that no woman deserve to be raped or killed in our society.

On the perceived violence that may erupt from the conduct of the September 19, 2020, Governorship poll in Edo State

Eholor stated that such will not happen. As a man thinketh so is he. Only the politicians are thinking about ‘war’ nobody else is talking about war. Since the average people are not the ones talking about causing ‘war’ they will not be sacrificial lambs for it. In as much as we have the revered Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Ogidigan of Benin Kingdom every sacrifice has been made and every prayer received by God. The election will be peaceful. He who the cap fits will wear it.
