Managing Director (MD) of the Edo Geographic Information Service (EDOGIS), the agency that manages land administration and information in Edo State, Osaro Grace Aihie, is facing Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) investigation for complicity in what is said to be issues of shady deals traced to the agency in the course of the Godwin Obaseki administration.
Impeccable sources told Popular News that Aihie, who still acts as if she’s still in charge of operations in the agency despite the fact that the state government under Governor Monday Okpebholo, has since dissolved such agencies, has been invited to come to the EFCC office on Monday to tell the anti-corruption agency what she knows about some questionable deals in the agency and supply documents to back up her presentation.
While she reigned as the boss of the EDOGIS, Aihie, was mentioned severally of been instrumental in the plot by the Edo State Government to acquire the expanse of land on which the Edo State Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) in Benin is situated and so many demolition of structures.
