Exclusive: Edo NUJ Chairman, Alenkhe, sends SOS to police boss over cyberbullying, false information and others

Comrade Festus Alenkhe, Chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), is in distress and has sent a SOS message to the State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Dankwara, to come to his aid by investigating one Racheal Eboni Osazee lyonmana based in Canada, who has launched an unprovoked attack on his person.

In a strongly worded petition he forwarded to the Police boss, Comrade Alenkhe stated: “I write to draw the attention of the Edo State Commissioner of Police to a case of false information on kidnapping, cyberbullying and defamation being orchestrated against me by one Racheal Eboni Osazee lyonmana who is based in Canada with telephone Number-+19056178041.

“I have never met the Rachael from Adam. I only know the man that got married to her who is my family friend. Information available to me is that the said Eboni and her husband are currently having issues and she resolved to smear anyone who has ever associated with the estranged husband,

“She went on the internet to bring out my pictures and started castigating me. She engaged in acts derogatory to me. She described me as a kidnapper who is planning to kidnap her and now went further to say such on the YouTube with the name ‘Eboni Godswill’ She has described me to the world as a kidnapper and armed robber. I view her action as blackmail and malicious. She posted my various pictures on the Facebook with slanderous statements.

“I humbly appeal to the commissioner of police to direct the men of the Anti-Kidnapping /Cybercrime Unit of the Edo State Police Command to extend investigation into the matter.

“She should tell the police if we have ever met or interacted. If yes, let her produce the evidence.

“The Police should extend investigation to ascertain if there are some persons planning this fake allegation with her to smear and paint me in bad light to the outside world.

“Lastly, let me quickly say that, my personal investigation revealed that this said Eboni is into the blackmail of innocent Nigerians through the internet. This can be described as cyber stalking.

“I wish to appeal to the Commissioner of Police to order the arrest investigation and prosecution of Rachael Eboni Osazee Iyonmana anytime she comes to Nigeria.

“This will bring respite to my family, media colleagues and friends who were worried over the various allegations raised by Eboni against me.”
