Former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu, has struck a partnership deal with a governance research, advocacy and training-based NGO, Savannah Center for Diplomacy and Democracy Development(SCDDD).
Talking about his new engagement, Comrade Shaibu stated: “It’s the beginning of a brighter future for Savannah Center for Diplomacy and Democracy Development as I gladly agreed to a partnership deal to move it forward.
“The 10-year-old centre is a governance research, advocacy and training-based NGO with a strong drive on conflict management, development and sustainability of democratic values.
“The Center seeks my partnership, collaboration and wealth of experience in driving many of their plans and programmes whilst also suggesting new opportunities for engagement across the three tiers and arms of government.
“The initial engagement saw Savanna Centre present its management board in this initial engagement — Subsequent engagements would be more apt and be based on how to harmonize all ideas myself and my team would bring to the table.
“I gave an insight into my track record, not just in the executive arm of government but also at the legislative level. Looking forward to a high-performing and productive journey.”
