Edo Queens FC has officially announced the signing of Ghanaian star, Adjei Charlotte, a goalkeeper, in a strategic move to strengthen the squad ahead of the upcoming Nigerian Women Football League(NWFL) season.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Desmond Enabulele, and the General Manager(GM) of Edo Queens FC, Mr. Rollanson Odeh, who both expressed confidence in the new signing’s ability to boost the team’s performance.
“We are pleased to welcome Adjei Charlotte to Edo Queens. Her experience and talent will undoubtedly add value to our team as we aim for greater success in the league and on the continental stage,” Enabulele stated.
Edo Queens FC remains committed to building a competitive squad and continues to invest in top talents to elevate the club’s standing in Nigerian women’s football.
It would be recalled that the Queens missed winning the women Super Six league by the whiskers last season.
