Edo govt to conduct physical verification for PUWOV personnel in Edo Central, North

Edo State Government will conduct physical verification and headcount for personnel of the Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) scheme in Edo Central and Edo North Senatorial Districts, from Wednesday 2nd Decemberto Friday 4th December 2020.

In a statement, Coordinator of the scheme, Mukhtar Yusuf-Osagie, said the exercise was compulsory and those who do not participate risk dismissal from the scheme.

According to him, the schedule for the exercise is as follows: “Esan West Local Government Area (LGA), Esan North East LGA, Esan South East LGA, Esan Central LGA, Igueben LGA are to meet at Esan West Council Hall (Aliu hall) between Wednesday, 2nd December and Thursday, 3rd December, 2020.

“However, due to closeness, Owan West LGA and Owan East LGA are to report at Esan West Council Hall for the screening. Time is 8am daily.”

For the Edo North leg, he said the exercise will hold from Thursday 3rd to Friday 4th Dec, 2020 at Etsako West LGA hall and local councils to be screened include: “Etsako West LGA, Etsako East LGA, Etsako Central LGA, Akoko-Edo LGA. Time: 12pm on 3rd December, 2020 and 8am on 4th December, 2020.”
