Edo FA secures strategic partnership with Football Academy

The Edo State Football Association (Edo FA) has announced a landmark strategic partnership with the President of IDAH Football Academy, Osaretin Idahosa, in a move set to further motivate and reward excellence in grassroots football.

The partnership was formally unveiled during the opening ceremony of the 2026 Edo State FA Cup (Preliminary Rounds) held at the UBTH Sports Complex, where Mr. Idahosa made a remarkable pledge to gift the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament a 100×100 plot of land.

The generous reward is courtesy of House Masters Realtors Limited, a reputable real estate development and management agency based in Benin City. The company is widely recognized for its expertise in residential estate development, land sales, and construction services, with a strong presence in the Ekenwa and Oluku communities.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Idahosa emphasized his commitment to youth development and the advancement of football in Edo State, noting that such incentives are designed to inspire young players to strive for excellence both on and off the pitch.

“This initiative is not just about rewarding talent, but about creating opportunities and encouraging young footballers to dream bigger. We are proud to partner with the Edo State FA in driving this vision forward,” he stated.

The Edo State Football Association, under the leadership of its Chairman, Fred Newton Erhumwunse, reiterated its dedication to fostering strategic collaborations that will enhance the growth and development of football across the state. The FA commended Mr. Idahosa and House Masters Realtors Limited for their visionary support and contribution to grassroots football.

This partnership marks another significant step in elevating the prestige of the Edo FA Cup, positioning it as not only a competitive tournament but also a platform for life-changing opportunities for emerging football talents.
