In his remarks, Hon. Omoike expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of the Edo FA under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Fred Newton Erhunmwunse, alongside the Vice Chairman, board members, and the entire executive committee.

He stated that he has keenly followed the activities of the Association and is impressed by the level of organization, transparency, and dedication being demonstrated in advancing football development across Edo State.

According to him, “I am always pleased to identify with the activities of the Edo State Football Association under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Fred Newton Erhunmwunse, his Vice Chairman, board members, and other members of the Association. He also committed himself to actively supporting all football-related initiatives of the Association and contributing meaningfully to football development programmes across the state.

Omoike assured that upon assuming office as the Honourable Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council, football development and youth engagement through sports would be accorded top priority during his tenure. He reiterated his confidence in the leadership capacity of the Edo FA Chairman and his Board, affirming that sustained football activities would be organized throughout his administration in collaboration with the Association.

He emphasized that football remains a powerful tool for youth development, social inclusion, and community building, aligning with the developmental agenda of the Edo State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo. He further assured the Association of his continued willingness to support its programmes and initiatives whenever called upon, reaffirming his long-term commitment to football development in Edo State.

The Edo FA expressed its profound appreciation to Hon. Omoike for this laudable contribution and uses this medium to call on corporate organizations, institutions, and well-meaning individuals to partner with the Association in promoting grassroots football development in Edo State.
