He added that as time progresses he will officially inform the party of his plans for the country with a vow to take over the Presidential Villa in 2023.

Okanigbuan said that his acceptance to be a member of the Action Alliance (AA) was fuelled by the party’s interest in youths and women, adding, “thus I decided to choose the party to fulfil my destiny in 2023.”

Earlier, the National Chairman of the party, Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, in welcoming the 40 year old Presidential hopeful to the AA said: “We attach much importance to youths becoming the leaders of today not tomorrow and we cannot do this without walking the talk,” adding “we want to tell Nigerians that it is the youths that will take the country to the Promised Land.”

He asserted that the party also gives women some form of priority when it comes to holding political offices disclosing that it is the party that has highest number of women(5) as party chairmen across the states of the federation.

In his remarks, Engr. Israel Guobadia, the chairman of the party in Edo State, promised that the party will not deviate from its policy of giving equal/free and fair opportunity to its members who desire elective positions.

He gave kudos to Okanigbuan for his decision to join the party as he seek for the office of President in 2023 with a promise that the party will go all out to support his desire.
