Edo 2024: Okpebholo speaks on his philanthropic act

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial poll in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo (aka Akpakomiza), has shed more light on an act of philanthropy he carried out in a school situated in his Edo Central constituency.

“Education is the process of molding individuals in a society, in order to develop their potentials.

“I was impressed by the potentials, that I saw in the students of Sabor International Montessori School, Irrua, Edo State, were I was invited as a guest, to witness the graduation and end of session ceremony.

“The occasion afforded me the opportunity to see the potentials inherent in these students, which needed to be harnessed for the greater good of the society.

“Thus, in my own little way to support the building of these potential leaders, I donated laptops to the management of the school. In the same spirit, I gifted a laptop to Master Mark Dignity, a pupil whose oratory prowess and excellent diction captivated me, during his presentation in the said ceremony.

“As someone whose parents didn’t have the resources to buy a pencil and exercise book to study, I’m eternally greatful to God, for the opportunities, to give out laptops and sets of computers to students in schools in Esan-land and beyond.

“Believe in yourself and your dreams, though, it may tarry, but, it will certainly become a reality, if you don’t give up,” Okpebholo submitted.
