Senator Monday Okpebholo is in a different paradigm. You cannot deny that. If you are fortunate to cross paths, the All Progressives Congress(APC) candidate is a man of subliming mien that can hardly be compared to anyone contesting to succeed Governor Godwin Obaseki in the coming gubernatorial polls.
Partisan or not, half truths and pure emotions would not win the governorship election in September.
Irrespective of the propaganda being employed by the ruling party the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Senator Okpebholo has shown his card from the get-go as a man that is only interested in operating an open door policy in governing Edo State starting from November this year. Such attributes are rare in present day global politics.
To say that Senator Okpebholo government would not herald progress and development in Edo State is to live in a wishful world. The facts state differently, as do the statistics available from his stewardship.
The passion he displays even when he has not been into power and his decision to want to harness all human and material resources are his driving commitment to taking over as the next governor of the state.
That humility and unity of purpose that he preaches at every point in time, has find him in another reason, in which we are sure he is the right man to take us to the next level of infrastructural and human capital development.
The APC has no doubt done Edo people well by selecting this man of vision to continue with the legacy of Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole era the New Direction Government beyond 2024. Monday Okpebholo will no doubt reposition Edo State for greatness and thereby bringing out the beautification of the state.
