A prominent People’s Democratic Party(PDP) woman leader and social crusader in Edo State, Patra Cole, has described the nomination of Osarodion Ogie Esq. as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party for the forthcoming poll in the state as the right decision.
Cole, who also doubles as a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Godwin Obaseki, tagged Ogie as a square peg in a square hole.
In a statement titled ‘The man the cap fits’ Cole appreciated the leadership of the PDP in Edo State for carefully nominating the right person as running mate to the party’s gubernatorial candidate.
She said the choice and nomination of Ogie for the position gladdens the heart of all in the state, particularly the women and youths who form a larger percent of the voting population.
According to her, “PDP got this one very correctly. The party has won the hearts of the Edo people, expecially the women. The choice of Osarodion Ogie has outclassed other political parties’ permutation.”
