Addressing Edo voters during a ward-to-ward campaign in Benin City, Akpata lamented the 28-year reign of PDP and APC, during which they failed to provide basic necessities like quality education, world-class infrastructure, accessible healthcare, food security, and effective security. Akpata promised to create an enabling environment for Edo people both for the city center and rural communities to thrive, providing quality education that equips children for the future; world-class infrastructure that facilitates economic growth; accessible healthcare that caters to the well-being of all; food security that ensures no Edo person goes hungry and effective security that guarantees safety and peace.

He emphasized that September 21st is not just an election day but a freedom day for Edo people to take back their state from failed leaders. Akpata urged all Edo people to join this revolution and vote LP that day, promising that “together, we can build a better Edo State for all.”
