Don’t destroy the political future of our son – Akoko Edo elder admonish Obaseki

Emmanuel Afieshima, a retired medical personnel from Bekuma in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, on Wednesday condemned Godwin Obaseki for giving Akoko-Edo six months deputy governor, saying his people can never be deceived.

He insisted that what Akoko-Edo needs at this time is not six months deputy governor but roads, schools, teachers, rehabilitation of Ojirami Dam, rehabilitation of Ibillo market, construction of Igarra-Ibillo Road and fixing of the Igarra Technical College to a world class standard. He also reprimanded Obaseki for neglecting Ososo Tourist Center.

“Obaseki should stop fanning embers of hatred between Etsako people of Edo north and Akoko-Edo people in particular.

“The 8 years deputy governorship tenure started by Comrade Philip Shaibu should be completed by another Etsako fellow. Don’t destroy the political future of our son, Marvellous Omobayo.”
