Council boss thanks Obaseki for commitment to the welfare of the people

As part of activities to mark his 365 days in office the Chairman of Ovia North East Local Government Council of Edo State, Hon. Collins Ogbewe, have commenced inspection and commissioning of projects across the 13 wards of the local government area. 

Commissioning a 500kVa transformer donated to Ekiadolor Community in the local government area, Hon. Ogbewe thanked the state governor, Godwin Obaseki for his commitment to the welfare of the people of the local government area. 

Addressing residents of the community, the council boss charged them on continuous support for the governor’s led government and the People’s Democractic Party(PDP) whom he said understands the true meaning of giving back to the people the dividends of democracy. 

“I have promised myself and the people of Ovia North East Local Government that we are ready to serve because as a youth if you’re in office, and you dont behave well, you don’t perform, you don’t stand better chance in the nearest future. 

“Outside that you’re also blocking the ways of other youths. Just to say thank you to Governor Godwin Obaseki, who gave us the opportunity and the chance for the youths to serve the people with massive development and the dividends of democracy.”
